May 2019 saw representatives from both AMYAC and AMY Nominees boards and some lucky family members invited to China with the mining company CU River.
CU River are looking to resume Mining their Cairn Hill lease and open a new mine around Coober Pedy. With that they are looking to impress and solidify their relationship with the Traditional Owners and AMY Nominees. This has resulted in an invite for those board members that were able to make the journey.
Some of the highlights of the trip included: The Great Wall of China, The Terracotta Warriors, CU River’s Wire Production Facility, Red Square and many more.
While the trip was a once in a lifetime experience, some board members were looking forward to getting home and enjoying a good steak!
