The AMYAC directors provide a brief end of year update to members.
2019 has been a very busy year for AMYAC, including holding the 2018 AGM in February (with approval) and the 2019 AGM in November. For a copy of the board report presented at the 2019 AGM or the draft minutes from the 2019 AGM, please contact the AMYAC contact person.
Importantly, AMYAC awaits the feedback from the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations following an examination that was completed in November 2019. Members will be updated on findings from that examination.
A community meeting has now been scheduled for Coober Pedy on 26 and 27 March 2020. The purpose of this meeting is to consider:
- Compensation;
- Mabel Creek Station; and,
- Strategic planning consultation.
Limited financial assistance will be provided for members to attend the meeting. Members will be notified of this meeting.
