Laptop Computers

Members can apply for assistance to receive a laptop computer for the education needs of AM-YAC Members and their children.

Each eligible university or high school student can apply for one laptop computer every 4 years.

Households with primary school age children may apply for one laptop computer every 4 years.

Approved applicants will receive a laptop with Microsoft Office or equivalent, a mouse and a laptop bag with an approximate value of $1,000.

Where laptops are provided through the school curriculum at a cost to parents or guardians, payment will be made directly to the school on receipt of documentation.

Where specialist computers are required for education needs, e.g. Mac-book or similar, an equivalent payment can be made directly to a suitable technology provider.

You will receive a confirmation email when your application has been received.

If your application is consistent with trust policies and budget you can expect approval within three business days.
