Funeral Assistance (Non Members)

Up to $2,000 per Member per year may be available to provide assistance for an AM-YAC Member to attend the funeral of an immediate family member who is not an AM-YAC Member. 

Family are to nominate an AM-YAC Member who is an immediate family member of the deceased as Family Representative to coordinate the support of the Trust.

The Narrower Funeral Program (for Non-Member funerals) can assist in funding the following: 

  • Travel and accommodation for the AM-YAC Member and a non-Member spouse, parent of child of an AM-YAC Member who has passed away. 
  • Food for the wake, memorial or sorry camp. 
  • Clothing. 
  • Air travel tickets (Members are responsible for their travel arrangements and may incur a debt for missed flights).

SERVICE STANDARDS

If your application is consistent with trust policies and budget you can expect approval within three business days.
