June 2023 – Notice to AM-YAC Members
This note provides important information for AM-YAC members regarding the contact details and Community Assistance Programs of the AM-YAC Indigenous Community Trust.

AM-YAC members are encouraged to visit the AM-YAC Trust website and use the online application forms there.
Telephone hours are 9:30am to 2pm Monday to Friday excluding public holidays and the Christmas closure period.
A new booklet has been published that sets out the Community Assistance Programs available to AM-YAC members. The booklet is available from the Trust, the AM-YAC Office in Coober Pedy and online here.
During the regular review of the Executive Office provider, the TAC decided to advertise nationally in October of 2022 to review a wide range of potential providers. The Trust Advisory Council at all times were empowered to make this decision. A number of varying providers and engagements were considered and ultimately the TAC instructed Perpetual to finalise an agreement with MLCS Corporate.
MLCS have been appointed for a two-year term from May 2023.
MLCS operate the following team to the AM-YAC Trust executive office:
- David Williams – Team Leader
- Jessica Ziersch – Trust Officer
- Emily Gale – Trust Officer
- Natalie Bull – Trust Officer
The new executive office contract includes several additional services to AM-YAC members, including:
- Reporting in person to the Advisory Council and the AM-YAC Annual General Meeting,
- Investigating and implementing improved service delivery technology for members, and
- Training AM-YAC corporation staff to assist members submit applications.
Perpetual Trustee Company and MLCS Corporate look forward to this next phase of working with the AM-YAC Trust Advisory Council and supporting AM-YAC members achieve their objectives through the Community Assistance Programs provided by the AM-YAC Indigenous Community Trust.
