Applications Now Open

AM‑YAC Indigenous Community Trust advises that Sports Carnival Funding applications are now open for eligible AM‑YAC members. Funding is available to support sports carnival team managers to participate in approved carnivals and must be used for activities that provide a direct and identifiable benefit to the AM‑YAC community.
Please note funding is limited and provided at the discretion of the AM‑YAC Trust Advisory Council (TAC). Early applications are strongly encouraged, as funds may be fully allocated before the closing date.

Eligibility

Applicants must be current AM‑YAC members at the time of application and throughout the funding period. The applicant must be the Team Manager.
Members who are currently banned from the Trust are not eligible
All funding must comply with the AM‑YAC Trust Sports Carnival Funding Policy

The Trust may request verification of membership or evidence of community benefit at any time

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted via email to the Executive Office: amyac@fordhamgroup.com.au
Applications are now open and must be submitted no later than 31 August prior to the sports carnival
Team managers are responsible for event operations, financial management, accommodation, conduct, and risk. Download the Sports Funding Policy Application Form below.

Reporting Requirements

Successful applicants must submit a post‑event report within 30 days of the carnival’s conclusion, including outcomes, participation, budget acquittal, and supporting evidence. Failure to meet reporting or policy requirements may result in recovery of funds or exclusion from future funding opportunities.
