The board of directors of Antakirinji Matu – Yunkunytjatjara Aboriginal Corporation (AMYAC) wishes to express its deepest sympathy to the families and friends of Dr Lowitja O’Donoghue, a proud Yunkunytjatjara woman and her recent passing.
Dr Lowitja was a beacon of hope and strength, a shining light, an inspiration to one and all. There will never ever be another like you, although many will follow now in your footsteps and carry on your efforts with the strength they drew from you. May you rest in peace, your work has been well and truly done, farewell, but not goodbye, from all of the AMYAC board and members.
