Tertiary Assitance Program

AM-YAC Members 40 years of age and under may apply for assistance with education fees (including fees, compulsory books and reference materials, excursions and camps which form part of their assessed curriculum and accommodation) of up to $10,000 per year.

This applies to university and TAFE students and those undertaking an apprenticeship for which there are education costs they are responsible for.

Applicants cannot apply for fee payments for University Courses. This should be covered by the Higher Education Loan Program or similar.

This is exclusive of scholarships that have been approved from other service providers which are over $10,000 per year.

Each Tertiary student can apply for one laptop every four years.

Note: Each student needs to apply separately for each program.
