OZ Minerals-Prominent Hill is calling all Antakirinja Matu-Yankunytjatjara artists
What are we looking for:
OZ Minerals is developing the Arkani Ngura (Ah-gah-nee Ng-uu-rah) Centre at Prominent Hill. The vision of the centre is to be the ‘go-to place in the southern hemisphere to test and observe emerging technologies in mining and other sectors.
We want this vision to be symbolised in an artwork that can be digitally rendered into a logo for the centre. After reviewing submissions, OZ Minerals will identify the artist to paint the final canvas and award them between $2000-$4000 for the artwork.
Who can apply?
Individuals must identify and be a member of the Antakirinja Matu-Yankunytjatjara
Aboriginal Corporation.
How to apply?
Please provide photos or papers of the following:
- a description of your proposed painting and how it symbolises the vision of the centre and the AMY people
- detailed colour sketch of your proposed design
- evidence of your art style with up to 4 pictures of your other completed paintings
